The offer
Denbies is England’s largest single-estate vineyard, covering 265 acres of Surrey Hills hillside just outside Dorking, and the hotel sits right in the middle of it. The setting is the whole point: rows of vines stretching towards Box Hill and the North Downs, a working winery on the estate, and enough walking trails and outdoor space to fill a couple of days without leaving the grounds.
The hotel itself is straightforward and well-suited to the location: clean, comfortable rooms designed as a base for exploring rather than as a destination in their own right. The dining leans into the surroundings, with breakfast included in this offer and dinner options available through the estate’s brasserie, where the menu draws on locally sourced ingredients and the view over the vineyard does a lot of the work. Wine perks are included with this deal — check the offer detail page for exactly what is covered, as these vary by room type.
Beyond the hotel, the estate offers indoor winery tours and tastings, an outdoor train tour through the vines, and seven miles of marked footpaths. The Surrey Hills Brewery also operates on the estate if beer is more your thing. An adjacent wellness centre runs yoga classes and workshops, though these are charged separately.
The location is better connected than it looks on a map. Dorking station is a short walk from the hotel, with direct trains from London Waterloo and London Victoria taking around 50 minutes. London Gatwick is about 20 minutes by car, Heathrow around 40. Box Hill and Westhumble station on the Mole Valley line is also close, useful for arriving on foot via the North Downs Way.
This offer is bookable until 28 July 2026 with travel available from the same date.
