A new independent aparthotel has opened in the City of London, occupying a former early-2000s office building on Fenchurch Street that has been through a £12 million, 24-month conversion.
onefifty fenchurch is the work of developer Thackeray Group, better known for the luxury ONE residential brand, and marks the company’s first move into hospitality. The property is operated by Vertiq Hospitality Partners, formerly known as Cycas Hospitality, and comprises 33 apartments across studio and one-bedroom configurations, ranging from 17 to 31 square metres. Architecture was led by Falconer Chester Hall, with interiors by Studio Mark Andrew.
The apartments are designed to feel residential rather than transient: fully equipped kitchenettes, walk-in showers, Egyptian cotton linen and thoughtful in-room amenities aimed at both short stays and longer residencies. Shared facilities include a boutique gym with a Peloton treadmill, a yoga and Pilates studio stocked with Alo Yoga equipment, private work studios for calls or focused meetings, a communal lounge and a 24-hour pantry.

Located at 150 Fenchurch Street, the aparthotel is a short walk from Fenchurch Street Station and Tower Hill, with Leadenhall Market, the Sky Garden and the Tower of London all nearby. Direct transport links to London City Airport add to its appeal for business travellers.
The opening reflects a broader shift in the Square Mile, where demand for design-led, flexible accommodation that is suited to extended stays as much as weekend visits has grown steadily as working patterns have changed.
To mark the opening, onefifty fenchurch is offering 20% off direct bookings made before the end of May 2026 for stays up to 31 December 2026.
